Another story behind holi celebration
is about a giant king Hiranyakashyap whose son prahlad was a Vishnu bhakt (worshipper),and lord Vishnu was
the enemy of his father Hiranyakashyap. His father tried many ways to
manipulate his son stop worshiping lord Vishnu, at last he decided to call his
sister holika who cannot be burn by fire. Holika took prahlad into a big
bonfire to kill him. But because of prahlad trust on god holika died in the
fire and prahlad had no effect of fire on him. One day before holi , a bonfire is set to fire in a ground
and celebration are made in the midnight. On the another day, people pay with
colors With friends and relatives.

Holi, though a festival of the Hindus, is
celebrated by all people irrespective of caste, creed, age or sex. People
forget old enmities and a new beginning is made.
Young children buy syringes and throw color
on one another. This day is spent in making merry, joy, fun and delight. Holi,
the festival of colors , creates communal harmony. It is in fact, spring
festival which is celebrated in one form or the other in almost all countries
of the world.
